The Vermont XL (VTXL) is a 500km route with 10'000m of climbing following a virtually continuous dirt path through Vermont from the Canada border to the Massachusetts border, linking the state’s northeast and southwest corners.

In June 2025 Mathieu Bélanger-Barette set out to get the fastest time. He missed it by 10 minutes after 22 hours of riding.
